For a prime location along the Camino Primitivo, the price was surprisingly reasonable. My room was immaculate, featuring a comfortable bed and ample heating-perfect for the chilly nights. The staff truly stood out; they offered helpful services like laundry, which returned neatly folded. It lessened my burden significantly, allowing me to focus on rest and recovery from my long walks. Access to a fully equipped kitchen was a nice touch, giving me the option to prepare meals at my leisure. During my stay, a loud fiesta raged outside, but with the windows closed, I enjoyed a peaceful night's sleep, an unexpected luxury amidst the festivities. Lastly, the wonderful staff member who assisted me after a day in the rain went above and beyond, providing old newspapers for my wet shoes and drying my clothes. Pensión Porta Santa marries comfort with a commendable price point-an appealing choice for travelers prioritizing value without sacrificing essentials. Highly recommend if you find yourself on this route.
